Borussia Dortmund have confirmed Karim Adeyemi has been granted permission to hold talks with another club as pre-season began on Sunday.

As a result, the forward was absent from the first day of pre-season.

A move to FC Barcelona is nearing completion.

The 23-year-old has most likely played his final game for Dortmund.

Kjell Wätjen, reportedly close to joining Danish side FC Midtjylland, was also missing for the same reason.
