Adi Hütter has ruled out taking the Tottenham Hotspur job before the end of the season, despite being linked as a potential successor to Igor Tudor, the 56-year-old said in a statement.
His name has been attached to various clubs with growing frequency in recent days and weeks, but, as he made clear when leaving Monaco, he would prefer not to accept a head coach role until the start of the new campaign at the earliest.
Released by Monaco at the start of October 2025 after nearly two and a half years, he does not appear in a hurry to return.
The stance suggests he would rather join a project from the outset, even if that means waiting for the right opportunity.
Taking charge at Spurs now, with the London club on the brink of the relegation zone and already through two managers since the start of the season, could prove a poisoned chalice, particularly after a difficult end on Le Rocher.
