Adnan Beganovic tips TS Galaxy star for starring Bafana role

TS Galaxy head coach Adnan Beganovic has tipped Khulumani Ndamane to be one of the important figures in the South African national team.
The 21-year-old center-back enjoyed a meteoric rise to after his exploits during the 2024/25 campaign - his debut season in the topflight.
Ndamane made 27 appearances across all competitons and caught the eye of Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos.
The Rockects snapped the defender on a free transfer from Kaizer Chiefs' reserve team and Beganovic beleives he is destined for greater heights in his career.
“Khulumani is a very important player for us. He is a very good central defender, i think he will have a very good career,” he said.
In addition, the Galaxy mentor insists Ndamane has the potential to stake a regular berth in the heart of the national team defence as one of the best stalwarts South Africa has ever produced.
“He can be one of the best central defenders in this country because he is left-footed, he can play through the lines, he has beautiful long balls, and he is good in the air with the head,” added Beganovic.
"I think he can be the main central defender for Bafana Bafana in the future.
Ndamane has been named in Broos' squad that is set to face Zimbabwe and Rwanda in the crucial FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Friday and Tuesday respectively.
