Las Palmas have completed a key piece of transfer business ahead of the 2024/25 campaign with Adnan Januzaj arriving on a season long loan.
The Canarians have been working on a deal to bring Januzaj to Gran Canaria since the start of June after flagging up their interest in him.
Januzaj’s career has stalled at Sevilla in recent years with no goals scored since he arrived in 2022.
He spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Turkish side Istanbul Başakşehir but his return to Spain failed to trigger a positive response.
🚨Former Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj joins Las Palmas on a season long loan from Sevilla–
His current deal at Sevilla runs until 2026, with no current chance of an extension at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, as he heads to Las Palmas.
There is no purchase clause included in the agreement ,with Las Palmas keeping their options open, in a win-win situation for them.
Januzaj could be joined by Scotland international Oli McBurnie in the coming days with Las Palmas pushing for a free transfer deal.
