Adrian Santos, brother of William Gomes, joins Salgueiros

Salgueiros have signed Brazilian defensive midfielder Adrian Santos, 21, the elder brother of FC Porto winger William Gomes, 20. The fourth-tier club announced the move on Saturday.

They compete in the Campeonato de Portugal.

He joins his brother in the city of Porto, moving to European football after spells with Flamengo Guarulhos, Falcon FC, Jabaquara and Confiança in Brazil.

Last season, Salgueiros finished ninth in Série B of the Campeonato de Portugal.

The midfielder arrives to bolster the historic club.
