Adrien Rabiot (31) could be set for another reunion with Massimiliano Allegri. As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the French midfielder has emerged as a priority target for Napoli should Allegri replace Antonio Conte as the club’s head coach this summer.

The pair worked together extensively at Juventus, where Allegri coached Rabiot across 159 matches, before reuniting at AC Milan last summer following the midfielder’s departure from Olympique de Marseille.

The Italian publication claims that Allegri would like Napoli to build their midfield around Rabiot and Scotland international Scott McTominay, who has impressed since joining the Serie A side from Manchester United in 2024.

Rabiot is currently away with the France national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The midfielder remains under contract with Milan until 2028 and reportedly earns around €5.5m per season.GFFN | George Boxall
