The Cherries' stance on both Ben Doak and Emmanuel Latte Lath has come as a boost for Boro.
AFC Bournemouth are not expected to negotiate a swap deal that involves Ben Doak coming to the Vitality Stadium and Antoine Semenyo securing a switch to Liverpool.
This is according to TBR Football, who also believe the Cherries aren't interested in a move for prolific Middlesbrough forward Emmanuel Latte Lath during the January transfer window.
Doak, 19, hasn't been short of interest during this transfer window, with Crystal Palace also being linked with a move for the Scotland international.
However, they are closing in on a move for Romain Esse, and that could potentially allow Boro to retain him for the remainder of his loan spell at the Riverside.
Having shone on Teesside this season, it's no surprise that the Reds' man is attracting interest from elsewhere, and it remains to be seen whether a Premier League team is able to secure an agreement for him before the transfer deadline next month.
Latte Lath has also been a real threat in front of goal this season, scoring on numerous occasions and proving why he was the subject of interest from the top flight during the summer window.
Doing very well during the first half of the season, it may only be a matter of time before he moves on.
However, his contract doesn't end until the summer of 2027, and Boro also have the option to extend his stay by a further year.
Boro will be desperate to retain Doak for the remainder of the season, and according to TBR Football, that's what is likely to happen.
They believe a swap deal involving Doak and Semenyo isn't in the pipeline, which is a real boost for Michael Carrick's side in their quest to retain the Scotsman for the remainder of the campaign.
Latte Lath, meanwhile, is believed to be valued at around £20m, with the Teesside club in a fairly strong negotiating position.
Atlanta United may have launched an offer for the Ivorian, but Bournemouth aren't interested in the forward.
Doak has been very good for Boro this season and will only get better, so if they can retain him, they should hugely benefit.
If he stays for the remainder of the season and they win promotion, it could put them in a position to sign the Scottish winger on a permanent basis.
In terms of Latte Lath, he has been just as important this season, if not more important than Doak.
He's been a prolific figure and when in top form, he's almost unstoppable, with the player performing very well this season.
