Felix Afena-Gyan, a former Roma striker who made his Serie A debut under José Mourinho in 2021, scored a scorcher on his Juventus NextGen debut against Catania last night.
Ghana international Afena-Gyan scored on his Juventus NexGen debut on Saturday night, even if the Bianconeri’s second team could not avoid a 3-1 home loss against Catania.
Afena-Gyan was introduced in the second half and scored with a fantastic volley from the edge of the box with Juventus 2-0 down.
Afena-Gyan had remarkably scored a brace on his Serie A debut with Roma under Mourinho in 2021, helping the Giallorossi secure a 2-0 away win at Genoa.
Those are the only two goals he has scored in Italy’s top-flight. The promising striker has 40 Serie A appearances with Roma and Cremonese and joined Juventus NextGen in the last summer transfer window.
