Afimico Pululu officially cleared to play for DR Congo
It's now official: Afimico Pululu is eligible to represent the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Jagiellonia Białystok striker has completed all the necessary administrative procedures in Brussels, having secured his Congolese service passport.
Previously linked with Angola, the country of his birth, Pululu made his decision some time ago. He confirmed it himself, stating his desire to wear the DR Congo jersey—a choice he says he embraces with pride.
Previously called up, Pululu had not yet made his debut due to physical issues. This time, all the conditions are right for him to join the Leopards, who reached the round of 16 at the last Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
