Afonso Felício, Vitinha admirer, signs youth deal with FC Porto

Afonso Felício signed a youth training contract with FC Porto after scoring one goal in eight matches for the club’s under-15 team this season. The young left-footed midfielder, just 14 years old, names Vitinha as his role model and has expressed his desire to reach the first team.

“My role model is Vitinha. I think I have a similar style of play to his. I think I’m like him,” Afonso Felício told the club’s media, adding: “It is a huge pride to be signing this training contract with FC Porto, which is the club of my heart. It means the club has faith in me, and now I have to keep working. I now hope to be able to sign a professional contract with FC Porto and one day reach the first team.
