After 25 years, Casino returns as ASSE’s main shirt sponsor

Casino is to return as AS Saint-Étienne’s main shirt sponsor from next season.

According to Le Progres, the brand, followed by Géant, fronted the Verts’ shirts from 1986 to 2001, a span of 15 seasons.

Since then it has featured only occasionally with the women’s team.

The logo has also appeared on warm-up shirts, but not in the central, principal slot.

Next season will be its first campaign back in that leading position since 2001.
