According to Goal.com, Egyptian refereeing analyst Mohamed Kamal Risha expects Al-Hilal’s Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville to miss at least two AFC Champions League Elite matches after his straight red against Qatar’s Al-Gharafa. The dismissal already rules him out of Al-Sadd on 13 October.

He was sent off in the 32nd minute for what Risha labelled disgraceful conduct. The analyst said the length of any ban depends on the referee’s report and that such offences usually bring one to two matches under the competition regulations.

If the disciplinary body issues a two-game suspension, Summerville would also miss Al-Shamal on 27 October. The final decision will determine when he returns.

Al-Hilal opened their campaign with a 2-1 win over Al-Gharafa. Ruben Neves scored first from the penalty spot, Sergej Savic added the second, and Alaeddine Hassan netted for the Qatari side.

An absence across two fixtures at the outset of the tournament would be an early blow for Al-Hilal.
