Anthony Gordon was FC Bayern’s dream transfer for the attacking side. The record champions had been looking at the Englishman, but on Friday he signed for FC Barcelona. Will Bayern now snap up another attacking player?
An alternative must be found, that is clear. Munich have made the signing of an attacking winger a priority. Ideally, they say, this player should also be able to play in different positions
One player who fits this bill is Marcus Rashford, the English attacking winger who is currently on loan to FC Barcelona from Manchester United and is not a permanent signing for the Catalans
Manchester United are no longer planning to sign the Englishman, who played important roles as a supplementary player at Barcelona and had a good record there. According to the Manchester Evening News, FC Bayern are at least keeping an eye on the situation surrounding the Englishman and could make a move in the summer

The advantage is that Rashford should not be too expensive, a transfer fee would probably be in the region of 30-40 million euros. It also looks as if Rashford would not demand the very highest salary
After all, the attacking star gave up part of his salary to play for FC Barcelona. And even if he had signed permanently, he would have made concessions to the Catalans. Is this the chance for FC Bayern in the summer? The player would definitely prefer a club that regularly plays for and wins titles
The statistics from the past season are impressive in any case. Rashford contributed 14 goals and 14 assists, all in 2600 minutes. He is still under contract with the Red Devils until the summer of 2028.
