AC Milan are apparently looking at Munich again: after several Bayern players, the Italians are now also focusing on an attacking player

After names such as Minjae Kim and Leon Goretzka were recently linked with AC Milan, the focus is now turning to Nicolas Jackson

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Rossoneri have even made the striker their main transfer target for the upcoming transfer window

The situation is clear: Jackson is currently under contract with FC Bayern, but will return to his parent club Chelsea in the summer. A permanent signing by the Munich club is still considered unlikely

However, the 24-year-old does not appear to have any long-term prospects with the Blues either. According to reports, neither Chelsea nor FC Bayern are planning to sign the Senegalese international for the coming season. This increases the likelihood that Jackson will be looking for a new club in the summer

Milan scent opportunity with Jackson

This is exactly where Milan come in: the Italians want to strengthen their attack and apparently see Jackson as a suitable solution for the center forward position

A move could make sense for both sides. While Jackson usually only takes on the role of backup behind Harry Kane in Munich, he can expect significantly more playing time in Milan

For FC Bayern, a departure would underline the need to find a new alternative for Kane in the center forward position in the summer. FCB officials have already indicated that they are looking for solutions in this position

One thing is certain: the signs are clearly pointing to Jackson’s departure from the German record champions – and AC Milan are positioning themselves early.
