After Nike deal, Vasco accelerate talks on 2026 master sponsor | OneFootball

Vasco are moving to finalise their 2026 front-of-shirt sponsorship after sealing a major kit deal with Nike, while facing Fluminense in the Copa do Brasil semi-finals. According to Globo.com, talks over a renewal with current partner Betfair have not advanced.

Betfair recently ended its role as Cruzeiro’s master sponsor, with Betnacional, from the same group, taking that spot.

Betfair holds priority in the event of a renewal, but Vasco want to reposition themselves in the sponsorship market and increase the value of the prime shirt asset. Last week the club announced the biggest agreement in their history with Nike, who will supply kits from 2026, worth around R$ 35 million per year.

Club executives are assessing options and aim to settle next steps in the coming weeks. Vasco believe their brand has been enhanced by the Nike partnership, with social media engagement rising significantly since the announcement.

On Thursday, the club confirmed a renewed deal with MotoChefe through to 31 December 2027, which includes moving the company’s logo to the lower back of the main kit.
