Claudio Vigorelli, agent of Nicolò Zaniolo, is ‘certain’ that the Italian striker will earn his place in the Italian national team thanks to his performances at Udinese.
Zaniolo joined Udinese from Galatasaray on deadline day and scored his first goal with the Bianconeri on Tuesday, contributing to a 2-1 Coppa Italia win over Palermo.
“We’re happy because he helped Udinese win the match and go through in the Coppa Italia,” Zaniolo’s agent Vigorelli told TMW.
“It was good for the boy’s morale too, but I know Nicolò and I’ve never had any doubts about his quality or the fact that he’ll manage to show his worth.

“It was a long and almost exhausting negotiation, during which the player was patient and strongly wanted to come to Udinese,” continued Vigorelli.
“Nicolò showed great determination to make the deal happen. We felt it was the right choice and we’re convinced it will be.”
Zaniolo has 19 appearances and two goals with the Italy national team, but made his latest international appearance in March 2024.

“The national team is every player’s dream,” his agent said.
“I’m certain that, match after match at Udinese, he’ll prove his worth and earn his place in the Azzurri squad.”
Vigorelli is the agent of another Italian talent, Michael Kayode, who has just started his second season at Brentford.
He’s a player Brentford really believed in. He’s playing regularly, showing his value. He’ll always be grateful to Fiorentina and remain a Viola fan because of everything his development in Florence meant for him.”
