Aguilar sends Cuba to top of group E in W Qualifiers | OneFootball

ORANJESTAD, Aruba – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers continued with Cuba earning a 1-nil win against Aruba in Group E on Saturday at Stadion Guillermo Prospero Trinidad in Oranjestad, Aruba.

Nahomi Aguilar scored the lone goal of the match in the 62’, striking a right-footed hit from the right flank. Katheryn Rodriguez delivered the pass for the match-winning goal.

Cuban goalkeeper Lucylena Martínez stood out with three saves and one cross claimed to round out a clean sheet performance.

The victory places Cuba (2-1-0) at the top of Group E with seven points. Aruba (1-0-1) is third in the group behind second place Panama (2-0-0).

Aruba will seek to climb the table when it faces Panama and Curaçao when the W Qualifiers resume in April. Cuba will face Panama in its final match of the qualifiers in a match that could decide the berth to the W Championship.
