AI has listed the player from each club it believes are dubbed 'overrated'
The Championship has a great blend of high-profile players, experienced campaigners and young talent when it comes to players this season.
Such is the amount of money that certain clubs are spending in the second-tier in order to regain their Premier League status or, in some cases, reach the promised land for the first time ever, there is often debate as to whether certain players are worthy of such hype or valuations.
That hasn't showed any signs of slowing down in the early weeks of the current season, although there is still such a long way to go to determine who gains automatic promotion, who makes the play-offs and which sides end up suffering relegation to League One.
As a result of the aforementioned continuous debate, Football League World has asked AI to select a player from each individual club that it believes is overhyped by supporters, the general EFL circle and the media, and here are the 24 picks.
According to AI, the most overrated player at Birmingham City is summer signing, Kyogo Furuhashi.
The Japanese forward's £10m move from Rennes has come with a lot of pressure, as he is expected by many to replicate the stunning form he showcased at Celtic, where 85 goals were scored in just 165 appearances.
Kyogo hasn't gotten off to the smoothest of starts at St. Andrew's, having been guilty of passing up a handful of clear-cut chances. However, Bluenoses believe their star striker will eventually come good once the goals start to flow.
Ryan Hedges is allegedly the most 'overrated' man among the Blackburn Rovers ranks by AI's logic.
The 30-year-old's rather surprise inclusion is down to the fact it believes Hedges' goals and assists tally, which is less than 25 for Rovers, should be an improved number based on the fact he has made over 125 appearances for the club.
AI then claims that Rob Dickie is the most overrated player at Bristol City, despite the fact the centre-back's start to the season has been rather worthy of praise.
The 29-year-old has one of the strongest averages when it comes to clearances, with the Robins involved in several frenetic encounters under Gerhard Struber, although AI believes he is prone to a lapse in concentration, which could be in reference to his red card against Sheffield United in last season's play-off semi-final.
Given their budget constraints in comparison to many other sides, Charlton Athletic supporters would make a case that a number of Addicks players are somewhat underrated.
However, AI believes that left-winger, Tyreece Campbell is the exact opposite, regardless of how integral he was in Nathan Jones' side winning promotion from League One last term.
Such reasoning is due to the fact there is room for the 22-year-old to improve his end product, although that seems rather harsh just weeks into the maiden second-tier season of his career.
There was a time when Coventry City supporters could have agreed with AI for thinking Haji Wright was overrated. However, that isn't necessarily the case anymore.
The USMNT international and club-record signing has proved a frustrating watch at times, and although AI believes that is still the case more often than not, Wright has hit double-figures in terms of goals since first being utilised by Frank Lampard in March following a lengthy injury, and he is already among the division's top-scorers in the early stages of the current campaign
Another controversial pick by AI is the inclusion of Derby County stalwart, Craig Forsyth.
The Scottish defender has been praised for his longevity that has seen him make almost 400 appearances for the Rams, which has continued into this season despite an influx of new signings under John Eustace.
AI's logic for this pick will certainly baffle those at Pride Park, and it certainly doesn't add up with why the 36-year-old was handed a new contract in the off-season after being instrumental in the club's relegation escape.
Regan Slater often divides opinion among the Hull City fanbase, with AI leaning towards those who are of the opinion that he is overrated.
The 26-year-old has been with the Tigers on a permanent basis since his well-documented £50,000 move from Sheffield United in January 2022, and has been a mainstay in the side under four different head coaches - the latest being Sergej Jakirovic.
Much like those at the MKM Stadium, AI has praised Slater for his tireless running in the middle of the park, but believes he lacks the technical ability required to reach the next level.
Jens Cajuste was one of Ipswich Town's strongest performers in the Premier League last season, meaning there was a great sense of hype when the Swedish midfielder returned to Portman Road for another loan spell from Napoli.
However, despite being one of the division's most notable stars, AI is yet to be convinced by his performances in central midfield for the expected promotion candidates, stating that he must step up to the plate on a much more consistent basis, which Kieran McKenna will also hope is the case after a slow start for his side in general.
Stephy Mavididi was integral to Leicester City's title-winning season under Enzo Maresca two seasons ago. However, he is yet to get going under Marti Cifuentes.
Therefore, it perhaps isn't any surprise that AI believes he is the most overrated player at the club right now, as he clearly has the ability to make a real impact for the Foxes but has often been substituted for 16-year-old Jeremy Monga, who has been the most highly-rated City player so far this term.
Another intriguing pick from AI is that of Sammy Silvera, who is yet to really show his potential at Middlesbrough following his switch from Central Coast Mariners in 2023.
The Australian has been brought back into the first-team fold under Rob Edwards and will be hoping to do exactly that as Boro have emerged as the early-season surprise package having spent time at both Portsmouth and Blackpool in successive loan spells last season, although neither were particularly stunning.
