AI has predicted the favoured food choice of each Championship manager

Football and nutrition have become synonymous with each other in recent times as the game continues to take a modern outlook.

Those on the pitch are expected to adhere to strict meal plans that help them maintain such peak conditions throughout the gruelling 46-game Championship season to help achieve their side's main objective.

Of course though, there is the exception when players and managers opt for a so-called 'cheat meal', perhaps after a game where supporters have also indulged in stadium food such as traditional pies or the new street food phenomenon.

With that being said, at Football League World, we thought we'd spice things up - quite literally in some cases - and ask AI-based chatbot, ChatGPT, what it believes each of the 24 clubs' manager or head coach is likely to order after a Saturday afternoon encounter.

Birmingham City - Chris Davies

Chris Davies has had plenty to celebrate during his time in charge of Birmingham City thus far, with the public getting a brief glimpse into his non-footballing life through the club's Amazon Prime documentary.

However, AI believes that the 40-year-old is likely to follow up a long day's work in the dugout with a full English breakfast, even in the late hours, which many would find hard to challenge given its popularity.

Blackburn Rovers - Valerien Ismael

Valerien Ismael has become no stranger to the English game, and is now in his first full season in charge of Blackburn Rovers after prior spells with Barnsley, West Brom and Watford.

However, when relaxing post-match on a Saturday, AI believes that the 49-year-old will tuck into a French-style bistro, including well-known dishes such as a 'coq au vin', pommes frites and a cheeseboard.

Bristol City - Gerhard Struber

Gerhard Struber is back in English football this season with Bristol City. However, AI believes that the Austrian would go in search of meals from his homeland rather than embracing local Bristolian delicacies.

As such, it believes the ex-Barnsley boss is likely to indulge in a Wiener Schnitzel and a potato salad.

Charlton Athletic - Nathan Jones

Despite being manager at various clubs across the country, AI believes Nathan Jones is likely to stick to his Welsh roots when enjoying a post-match meal on a Saturday.

The Charlton Athletic boss' favoured order is predicted to be lamb chops, minted peas and roast potatoes, although that could have potentially changed for once after the club's Wembley win in the League One play-off final four months ago.

Coventry City - Frank Lampard

Frank Lampard earned a reputation for being one of the classiest midfielders of his generation, and that has certainly reflected in what AI believes is the Coventry City boss' post-match food choice.

AI believes the ex-England international is likely to order a proscuitto and rocket-topped pizza with the obvious side order of garlic bread, which you simply cannot beat.

Derby County - John Eustace

John Eustace has developed a reputation for being a solid, dependable man in charge at Championship level, and that is also reflected in what AI predicts the 45-year-old is likely to eat after a stressful afternoon in the dugout.

The 45-year-old's preferred traditional order is believed to be a bit of 'pub grub' according to AI, in the form of steak and ale pie, chips and mushy peas.

Hull City - Sergej Jakirovic

One of the newcomers to English football on this list is Hull City head coach, Sergej Jakirovic.

AI believes that the Bosnian isn't likely to be celebrating a 'mauling by the Tigers' with fish and chips, instead tucking into notable Balkan dishes such as cevapi (minced meat), pljeskavica (spicy meats) alongside ajvar (a bell pepper and eggplant-based condiment) and fries.

Ipswich Town - Kieran McKenna

Despite spending the entirety of his coaching career in England, AI believes that Kieran McKenna would stick to his Northern Irish roots after every Ipswich Town encounter.

As such, it predicts the highly-rated head coach to end a Saturday with a takeaway order of Irish-style chowder with soda bread.

Leicester City - Marti Cifuentes

After becoming the theme of a song which referenced his potential love for paella when in charge of Queens Park Rangers, AI believes that Marti Cifuentes has certainly continued such a theme whilst at Leicester City.

In fairness, it would be hard to dispute such a choice when it comes to Spanish food, although it depends on which variety of the popular dish - such as meat or seafood - would be Cifuentes' overall preference.

Middlesbrough - Rob Edwards

It has been a fine start to life as Middlesbrough head coach for Rob Edwards, who has certainly immersed himself in the values of the club and its community.

As a result, AI believes the 42-year-old is most likely to celebrate a victory on a Saturday afternoon with the obvious choice of fish and chips with mushy peas, and he will certainly find plenty of good value 'chippies' in the North East, although some may question why AI didn't predict the local 'parmo' delicacy as his first choice.
