Aimar Blázquez’s debut ends in tears with his family at Mestalla | OneFootball

Aimar Blázquez made his LaLiga debut for Valencia CF, coming on in the 82nd minute for the tireless Hugo Duro against Real Sociedad at Mestalla.

According to Superdeporte, the Madrid-born 20-year-old and youth international passed through Rayo Vallecano, Real Madrid, Leganés and Villarreal CF before joining Valencia CF’s academy as a child. After the final whistle he made his way to the section where his relatives awaited. Overcome with emotion, he cried as hugs, kisses and congratulations were exchanged, scenes captured by Movistar’s cameras.

Even without a goal, the official debut lets him dream with eyes open. It also made clear that Óscar Sánchez’s decision should have continuity with Javier Aguirre.
