Ajax Amsterdam are without a No.9 as they prepare to travel to the south of France to face Olympique de Marseille in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
Former OGC Nice forward Kasper Dolberg is suffering from an abdominal problem, whilst former Manchester United forward Wout Weghorst has suffered from a relapse of the back injury, from which he had just recovered. It means that the inexperienced Oscar Gloukh could play as a false No.9 for Ajax against Marseille this evening, instead of Don-Angelo Konadu getting a run out.
Youri Baas had been a major doubt for the fixture at the Vélodrome, however, he is ultimately fit to start, as is Steven Berghuis. Davy Klaassen will captain the Dutch side. Former Toulouse FC midfielder Branco Van den Boomen is out.
