Ajax striker Brian Brobbey has been spotted in London this evening amid reports earlier today that both Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are keen on recruiting his services during the current transfer window, according to De Telegraaf journalist Mike Verweij.

Spurs and the Hammers have been linked with potentially signing the Netherlands international on loan, while Everton are also monitoring his situation.

However, Ajax would prefer to sell Brobbey as he is not in their plans going forward, and it is unknown whether another club will look to pip the London Stadium club or Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club to his services.

The 22-year-old left the Netherlands this evening for the United Kingdom, but his reason for being in London is yet to be discovered.

He is likely in town for a medical at any of the aforementioned clubs or another side, but his agent Jose Fortes Rodriguez has refused to give anything away, and both Tottenham and West Ham fans will have to wait for an update to ascertain which club the forward will be moving to.

Spurs need a striker with Richarlison out injured and Dominic Solanke set to spend the next six weeks on the sidelines, while the Hammers also have injury issues of theirs, with Niclas Fullkrug, Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen all unavailable.

Brobbey only has four goals to his name in 28 appearances so far this term but ended last season with 22 goals across all competitions and will back himself to recover that form in the Premier League.

West Ham and Spurs both need attacking reinforcements this month after finding themselves languishing in the bottom half of the table after 22 games, and they will be expected to strengthen in other departments too to boost their chances of qualifying for Europe next term.
