Maghnes Akliouche will return for Monaco’s Ligue 1 trip to PSG on Friday at 20:45, while Denis Zakaria is a doubt with a groin issue. The match is part of matchday 25.

According to L'Équipe, Akliouche sustained a hip knock in the 3-1 against Nantes on 13 February and was withdrawn before half-time. He has since been used sparingly, missing the 3-2 at Lens on 21 February and last Saturday’s 2-0 against Angers to avoid aggravating the problem.

He featured in last week’s Champions League play-off second leg at the Parc des Princes, a 2-2 draw. Sébastien Pocognoli said they have managed his workload cautiously, noting he has played a lot this season during a demanding period.

The Belgian coach has doubts over three players who are currently uncertain. Mika Biereth was ill on Wednesday, Jordan Teze missed training and Zakaria worked indoors to ease his adductors.

Mamadou Coulibaly returns after suspension against Angers. Lukas Hradecky will be available in two weeks, although whether he immediately replaces Philipp Köhn remains to be seen given the latter’s reassuring form.

Monaco remain without eight players: Hradecky, Salisu, Ouattara, Diatta, Minamino, Pogba, Dier and Cabral.
