Al Ahly stay top — but Group B race remains far from settled

Al Ahly drew 1-1 with Young Africans in Dar es Salaam on Saturday to remain leaders of their CAF Champions League group.

Al Ahly of Egypt earned valuable point after 1-1 draw against Young Africans of Tanzania on Saturday in matchday 4 of Champions League group stage played at the Dar es Salaam Stadium.

The result leaves Al Ahly top of Group B with 8 point after two wins and two draw moving closer to qualification for the quarter-finals.

Young Africans remain second with 5 point while JS Kabylie & AS FAR Rabat sit third and fourth with 2 point each.

The two side scheduled to meet in Rabat later on Saturday to complete the round.

Only the top two team from each group will qualify for CAF Champions League quarter-finals, the first knockout stage of the competition.
