Al-Hilal 'add' Arsenal star Martinelli to shortlist as Malcom replacement | OneFootball

According to Goal.com, Al-Hilal are stepping up their hunt for a new winger to replace Malcom, who is said to be close to joining UAE side Al-Jazira after ending his contract. The Saudi club have added Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli to a three-man shortlist.

The list is also understood to feature Chelsea’s Portugal winger Pedro Neto, along with a third candidate.

Martinelli is thought to prefer a move within Europe should he leave the Gunners, though an offer from Al-Hilal may alter that stance.

Crysencio Summerville has already arrived from West Ham United this summer, yet the club still want another wide option.

Martinelli joined Arsenal from Brazil’s Ituano in 2019 and has made 278 appearances, scoring 62 and assisting 36.
