Al Hilal ‘agree’ £60 million deal for Crysencio Summerville | OneFootball

According to Goal.com, Riyadh giants Al Hilal have agreed a deal to sign Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United, with the official announcement still to come.

The Netherlands winger had been on the verge of joining Roma, then Al Hilal moved late and persuaded him to change course.

The agreement is for £55 million plus £5 million in bonuses, totalling £60 million, about €70 million and roughly 300 million Saudi riyals.

Al Hilal are banking on the 24-year-old after his standout 2026 World Cup, where he played six matches, logged 388 minutes and delivered five goal contributions, two goals and three assists, in his first major international tournament.

Naturally a left winger, Summerville has also operated on the right, including for the Netherlands, so he could feature on either flank at Al Hilal, potentially impacting the roles of Malcom and captain Salem Al-Dawsari.

A Feyenoord academy graduate, he had loans at Dordrecht and ADO Den Haag before joining Leeds United in 2020, making 89 senior appearances with 25 goals and 13 assists by 30 June 2024. He hit 21 goals and 10 assists in 2023-24 and was named the English Championship’s best player. West Ham signed him in summer 2024 and he recorded 56 appearances, eight goals and seven assists.
