Al-Hilal ‘have submitted’ €45m offer for Ollie Watkins | OneFootball

Al-Hilal have lodged a 45 million euro bid for Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins this summer, their third attempt to land the England international. Fabrizio Romano reports that the offer, which includes add-ons, has been submitted to Villa.

Villa rejected the first two proposals and must still approve any sale. The 30-year-old is said to be open to the move, so he is waiting on the club’s decision.

The Saudi club have also pursued another English centre forward this window, with Harry Kane previously linked to the Kingdom Arena. Al-Hilal are seeking a new focal point up front, with Karim Benzema set to be moved on this summer.

Watkins has been among the Premier League’s standout strikers in recent seasons. He featured 55 times for Villa last term, scoring 21 goals and providing five assists.

He was selected for England’s 2026 World Cup squad in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The forward made two substitute appearances, without a goal or an assist.
