The completed transfer of Karim Benzema to Al Hilal at the start of the week will bring one million euros to OL.

On the final day of the winter transfer window, Al Hilal pulled off a major coup by signing Karim Benzema from Al-Ittihad. This move was completely unexpected and came about after KB9 voiced his dissatisfaction with the contract extension offer. While CR7 opposed this transfer, managed by the PIF, OL could hardly contain their delight.

According to economic outlet Sportune, OL, as Benzema's training club, will receive one million euros thanks to FIFA’s solidarity mechanism. This is the maximum amount permitted under FIFA regulations. With OL currently facing financial difficulties, this windfall could not have come at a better time.
