Real Madrid will be busy this summer, as they seek the necessary signings to improve Alvaro Arbeloa’s squad. There will also be departures, and one of those could see Eduardo Camavinga make a big-money money to Saudi Arabia.
The idea is for a new midfielder to arrive at the Bernabeu, given that Toni Kroos and Luka Modric have not been replaced since their exits in 2024 and 2025 respectively. It is an area of the pitch where Real Madrid have struggled over the last 18 months, but it could end up being a case one in, one out.
Camavinga, who has also attracted interest from Liverpool, is wanted by Al-Ittihad as the replacement for N’Golo Kante, who joined Fenerbahce earlier this month. As per 365scores (via MD), an “astronomical” contract offer is being readied by the Saudi Pro League club.

Camavinga has struggled to nail down a regular starting spot at Real Madrid this season, despite having been readily available since September. He has competition from the likes of Aurelien Tchouameni, Arda Guler and Fede Valverde, while a new midfielder could push him further down the pecking order.
Despite this, it would be a major surprise to be Real Madrid consider any offers for Camavinga. Club bosses have a lot of faith in the midfielder, who is being backed to cement himself as a regular starter for years to come.
Al-Ittihad may well try to sign Camavinga, but the likelihood is that it’ll be in vain. Real Madrid are counting on him for the present and future, especially given there have been no signs to suggest that he is no longer at the level required to play at the Bernabeu. The Saudi Pro League side will surely have to turn their attention elsewhere.
