Sunderland are in talks to sign Igor Paixao from Marseille, and Al-Ittihad are considered an option for the Brazilian if they fail to land Ritsu Doan.
According to GetFootballNewsFrance.com, Marseille and Sunderland have been in contact over a transfer, and Paixao’s representatives were in London on Thursday for talks.

Paixao, 26, joined Marseille from Feyenoord last season for €30m and could depart only 12 months later.
Marseille cannot rule out a sale, although Bruno Genesio wants to keep him and he is the squad’s only recognised senior left winger.
The prospect of an exit has grown, yet Sunderland are no nearer to sealing a deal.
