Al Nassr have been rewarded for their 100 percent start to this season’s Roshn Saudi League by picking up two awards for September.

RSL title-winner Jorge Jesus was named Manager of the Month for guiding his new club to four successive victories to top the table heading into the international break, the most impressive coming in Matchweek 4 when Al Nassr defeated champions Al Ittihad in Jeddah.

Third last season and runners-up the year before, Al Nassr have scored the most goals this season, with 14, while also conceding the fewest, at only one.

There was a second nod to the Riyadh club in the awards sponsored by Roshn Group, with Joao Felix collecting the prize for Player of the Month.

Jesus’ compatriot, the Portugal international has begun life at Al Nassr in superb fashion, scoring a hat-trick on RSL debut and then chipping in with two more goals since.

It means the summer signing from Chelsea leads the goalscoring ranks with five, one ahead of teammate and two-time golden boot winner Cristiano Ronaldo, and Al Khaleej new boy Joshua King.

Meanwhile, Al Ahli’s Edouard Mendy was named Goalkeeper of the Month for September having kept three clean sheets from four matches for the Jeddah club. Last time out, at Al Hazem, the Senegal international saved Fabio Martin’s first-half penalty for Al Ahli to then go on and prevail 2-0.

Also, NEOM Sports Club’s Abbas Al Hassan has become the first Young Player of the Month for the 2025-26 season. The 21-year-old midfielder has helped the promoted club, competing in the RSL for the first time, rise to fourth in the table, with three wins from their past three league matches.
