Michail Antonio has found a new club, with Qatari side Al-Sailiya confirming the arrival of the former West Ham striker.
The 35-year-old makes the move after a long spell on the sidelines following a serious car accident in December 2024. The incident left him with multiple fractures to his leg and required surgery, as well as several weeks in hospital.
Antonio had been without a club since leaving West Ham last summer, bringing an end to a ten-year stay in east London. During that time, he became the club’s top scorer in Premier League history, registering 68 top-flight goals. In total, he scored 83 times in 323 appearances in all competitions after arriving from Nottingham Forest in 2015.
His only match action since the accident came at international level, when he featured briefly for Jamaica at the 2025 Gold Cup. In a bid to stay sharp, he trained with Brentford while assessing his options, though a return elsewhere in England did not materialise.
Al-Sailiya announced the signing on social media, sharing images of Antonio in club colours. Details of the contract, including its length, have not been made public.
