Alain Pochat, 58, has left Aviron Bayonnais after being released from his contract and is set to become Amiens coach in Ligue two, replacing Omar Daf. Daf was sacked with Amiens sitting 16th, a relegation play-off berth.
Amiens have not yet announced his arrival, and Courrier Picard reports that he led training on Monday.
Pochat arrived in Bayonne in July 2024 and guided the club to the National three title in 2024-25, securing promotion to the fourth tier.
He departs with Bayonne third in National two.
The outspoken coach previously managed US Boulogne from 2016 to 2017, Villefranche from 2017 to 2021 and again from March 2024 to June 2024, and Bourg-en-Bresse from 2021 to 2023.
