Alan Varela suffers knee trauma, doubtful for Estoril clash

Alan Varela underwent treatment upon returning to FC Porto training. The Argentine midfielder left at halftime during the match against Nice (3-0) and is recovering from a trauma to his left knee, as reported by the club on its official website. Nehuén Pérez (undergoing treatment and gym work) is the other player mentioned in the Dragons' medical bulletin.

The starters from the fifth round of the Europa League – as well as Bednarek, who came on to replace Varela – did recovery work, while the others trained on the pitch.
