Albion are in talks to sign Spanish winger Kareem Tunde from Levante, with negotiations understood to be ongoing as they seek to complete the move.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Levante could receive £4.28 million in total, with around £2.5 million upfront and a further £1.7 million in add-ons, and a 20 per cent sell-on has been agreed for the 21-year-old. The report adds that Tunde did not travel to El Sadar today for Levante’s second league game of the season against Osasuna as he awaits a possible switch to the Championship.

Recruiting a winger is among James Morrison’s priorities, with Mikey Johnston currently the only recognised natural wide player in Albion’s squad.

Born in Barcelona to a Nigerian father and Spanish mother, Tunde joined Barcelona’s La Masia from Espanyol in 2017, then spent two seasons at CF Damm before moving into Levante’s academy.

He made his senior debut for Levante B in January 2024 and subsequently signed a new deal to 2026, with an option of a further three years. After breaking through with the B team, he made his first-team and La Liga debut in December last year as a second-half substitute against Real Sociedad.
