The Alebrijes de Oaxaca vs Puebla Copa MX match will be broadcast live online and on TV as Los Alebrijes host Los Tiburones Rojos at the Estadio Tecnologico de Oaxaca this Tuesday, November 5, at 5:00 PM Pacific.
Alebrijes are currently bottom of Group 4 in the Copa MX with no points and are basically eliminated from making the knockout stage at this point. However, Oaxaca has been the best team in the Ascenso MX, currently top of the league with 24 points.
Alebrijes has intriguing players like Cesar Cercado, Arturo Ledesma and Diego Jimenez, but none of these players have really played in the Copa MX. Manager Alejandro Perez has opted to use alternate players and some of the standouts include Alejandro Berber and Jose Tehuitzil.
Veracruz is currently living the best moment of its season, recently snapping its historic 41-game winless streak in league play against Puebla. Los Escualos also defeated Alebrijes 1-0 in their last Copa MX game and are coming off a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Monterrey in the Liga MX.
Youngster Jesus Hinestroza scored the winning goal for Veracruz in the last Copa MX game against Oaxaca and will be one of the main players to watch in this match. Manager Enrique Lopez Zarza used an alternate lineup for that last game that featured some intriguing players like Colin Kazim-Richards, Jesus Paganoni and Cristian Menendez.
FutnSoccer predicts a 1-1 draw in this match as this has the potential to not be the most exciting game in Oaxaca.
