Inter have confirmed that Aleksandar Kolarov has tested positive for coronavirus.
Kolarov was on international duty with Serbia for their recent Euro 2020 qualifier defeat against Scotland, before returning to the club for mandatory testing.
“FC Internazionale Milano announces that Aleksandar Kolarov tested positive for the swab carried out yesterday upon returning from the call-up with his national team,” read an official statement.
“The player, completely asymptomatic, will now follow the procedures provided for by the health protocol.”
Kolarov becomes the second Inter player to test positively for COVID-19 after Achraf Hakimi.
