Alex Iwobi’s remarkable milestone: Becomes fifth player with 100+ EPL appearances for three clubs | OneFootball

Alex Iwobi has joined an exclusive group of Premier League footballers to have made 100+ appearances for three different clubs.

Iwobi made his 100th league appearance forFulham during the club's 3-2 defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Nigerian's milestone moment saw him become only the fifth player to have played a century of games for three different clubs. Iwobi played 100 times for first club Arsenal after coming through the ranks in North London, before a £28m move to Everton in 2019.

He made 124Premier League appearances for Everton across four seasons, before returning to the capital to sign for Fulham in 2023. An integral figure for the Cottagers in recent seasons, Iwobi has now reached 100 league games in West London.

Coincidentally, the three-time Premier League centurion also reached 100 international caps for Nigeria in June. Only three players have represented the Super Eagles on more occasions.

Iwobi is the only active footballer to have achieved the feat, followingJames Milner's retirement at the end of last season.
