Alexis Sánchez reveals personal letter from Barcelona after signing for Sevilla | OneFootball

Former Barcelona star Alexis Sánchez has revealed that he was the recipient of a classy message on the part of his ex-employers, upon joining Sevilla this summer.

Frontman Alexis of course secured a return to Spanish football earlier this month.

After being granted a free agent departure from Serie A outfit Udinese, the veteran attacker was snapped up by the aforementioned Sevilla.

Alexis has since gone on to enjoy a productive start to life back in La Liga, with a goal and an assist to his name across his first two appearances.

And as alluded to above, quick to make clear their happiness for the club’s former star following his Spanish comeback were those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou.

Taking to social media this week, Alexis unveiled a personal letter sent to him by Barcelona, following word of his signing for Sevilla being made official:

‘Dear Alexis,

We wish to express to you, on behalf of the FC Barcelona board of directors and on my own behalf, our sincerest congratulations on your recent signing with Sevilla.

In addition, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best in this new chapter.
