Negotiations between Inter Milan and PSV Eindhoven winger Ivan Perisic have reportedly reached ‘advanced stages.’ 

According to Sportitalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla via FCInter1908, the Croatian veteran is ‘completely open’ to returning to San Siro.

Nearly four years after leaving Serie A for Tottenham Hotspur, Ivan Perisic is ready to come back to familiar territory.

Indeed, the 36-year-old has already agreed personal terms with the Nerazzurri and is pressuring PSV to sanction the transfer.

Inter have identified Perisic as a perfect short-term replacement for the injured Denzel Dumfries.

Furthermore, they could be ready to offload the underperforming Luis Henrique if they bring the versatile winger back to Giuseppe Meazza.

However, PSV have shown no interest in letting Perisic leave before next week’s Champions League showdown against Bayern Munich.

Anything other than a victory in that clash would likely condemn the Eindhoven outfit to an early elimination.

Therefore, Inter can realistically hope to accelerate the transfer once PSV’s pivotal European tie is over.
