Algeria have a mountain to climb in their AFCON quarter-final against Nigeria.
The Fennec Foxes struggled to find their rhythm in the first half against the Super Eagles and set an unwanted 16-year first in the competition.

Things went from bad to worse early in the second period as Nigeria opened the scoring just two minutes after the break.
Victor Osimhen was left unmarked at the back post to head in from Bruno Onyemaechi's cross, lifting Nigeria to a more-than-deserved lead.
Ten minutes later, the Super Eagles would add another potential nail in the coffin when Akor Adams doubled their advantage before the hour mark.
