CR Belouizdad has sought to put an end to speculation surrounding Abderrahmane Meziane's situation by issuing an official statement this Friday evening. The club immediately asserts that “player Abderrahmane Meziane remains bound by an active contract with the team”, dispelling any rumors of an imminent split.

The management further explains that “his absence from recent training sessions and trips is due to internal disciplinary and organizational reasons.” This case clearly goes beyond mere sporting issues, as Chabab aims to maintain balance within the squad.

CRB also specifies that “a meeting was held with the player to discuss his future”, but that the offers received “did not meet the club's expectations on either a sporting or financial level”.
