OL Lyonnes suffered a potential blow as Alice Sombath went off injured early in their Coupe de la Ligue semi-final at Dijon on Saturday.

According to Le Progres, the 22-year-old defender left in the 18th minute with an apparent issue to her left knee.

With captain and centre-back Wendie Renard yet to return after a muscular alert just before the PSG match on the first of February, Sombath had been partnering Ingrid Engen in central defence.

She seemed to hurt herself on a push-off, stayed down in clear pain while being assessed, then limped straight to the dressing room accompanied by two members of the medical staff.

At the time, OL Lyonnes led by a single goal against an enterprising Dijon side.
