The Switzerland international joined FC Como this year before now making her return to England after penning a two-and-a-half-a-year deal with the Foxes.

"It feels amazing and I’m so happy to be here. It feels like a homecoming, coming back to England, and I’m really happy," the 27-year-old said.

"Leicester is an amazing club. I’ve seen the training ground and, of course, the stadium. They want to push women’s football forward."

Leicester are currently ninth in the WSL with nine points from their opening 12 games and Lehmann could potentially make her debut for the club when the Foxes host West Ham on Sunday.
