Liverpool will clash heads with Manchester United at Old Trafford this Sunday as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Reds managed to earn an impressive 3-1 win over Crystal Palace recently, so they would be full of confidence going into this game.
Arne Slot will set his men up in a 4-2-2-2 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first team for this clash. Alisson Becker and Ryan Gravenberch could all play from the start of this game.
Alisson Becker will feature in between the sticks for the Reds if he can recover in time for this game. Virgil Van Dijk will operate alongside Ibrahima Konate at the centre of the Liverpool backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the pitch.
Curtis Jones will try to prove his value as a makeshift right-back, while Andy Robertson looks to put in a good performance on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s penalty area.
Joe Gomez and Milos Kerkez will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Ryan Gravenberch will anchor the midfield along with Dominik Szoboszlai as they focus on establishing their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park.
Florian Wirtz and Alexis Mac Allister will operate as the attacking midfielders. Their main job would be to carry most of the creative burden for the Merseyside club in the final third.
Trey Nyoni, Jeremie Frimpong and Rio Ngumoha will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required. However, Mohamed Salah is unlikely to recover in time from his hamstring injury.
Cody Gakpo and Alexander Isak will spearhead Liverpool‘s attack up top. Both of them will have to link-up with each other well in and around the opponent’s penalty area.
Federico Chiesa will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if required.
