Liverpool enjoyed a great weekend and many members of the squad deserve credit but Alisson Becker was quick to praise on man in particular.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live (via liverpoolfc.com), the Brazilian said about Darwin Nunez: “This shows his quality and how important he is for this team.
“Sometimes we didn’t win games because we cannot finish that way inside of the box, but today Darwin did really well, not only with the goals but with his attitude and the way he fights for every ball.
“You can say he doesn’t score too much this season, but he is working hard every day.”
It’s clear that there’s an immense sense of pride from within the dressing room after watching our No.9 bounce back from some poor form with a match-winning contribution.

Our No.1 isn’t the only teammate who took time out to praise the Uruguayan. with positive comments also being sent his way by Virgil van Dijk.
The striker himself also discussed how great it felt to hit back at critics with goals and a great performance, showing how much it has been impacting his thoughts.
The 25-year-old has managed to keep his cool in this campaign which, when considering that he must have been feeling the pressure, is admirable.
Now we must continue to see a goal-scoring threat from our club record signing as he looks to prove to Arne Slot that he deserves more minutes on the pitch.
With games six games in four different competitions coming in the next 20 days, there’s ample opportunity for all players to showcase their talents.
