— It's a great privilege in my career to wear the Fluminense jersey. A club that, from the moment they made the offer, I didn't think twice about accepting. Because it's a gigantic club and also because I've already worked with a coach with whom I had the privilege, and in a few months, I was on the preliminary list for the Brazilian national team two or three times — he stated.

— If it weren't for the serious injury I had, when I ended up breaking my leg, I could have worn the National Team jersey. I am very happy, very honored, and I hope to adapt again, getting back in shape, especially since I spent some time just training — he added.

— From the moment you decide to go to a club like this, you understand the competition, regardless of being a substitute or not. I've always had this in my career: to learn and also help. To contribute in some way and be humble to learn. I want to add, regardless of being a starter or not. I want to be a winner with my teammates. I'm happy and motivated in any case — he concluded.

— On the Crespo issue, I prefer not to touch on it anymore. I wasn't going to talk about it, but it was eight months that only I and some professionals know what I went through. Everyone knows my character, I've never had any controversy in my career, no fights with any coach. That moment (of the Instagram post), I was even a little upset for having done that because, after thinking about it coldly, you realize there's no need because time shows you things.

— We even joke that those who don't score goals keep moving back in position. It was a conversation I had with Dorival, I was playing, being a starter at São Paulo, but I didn't feel comfortable with how things were happening. I asked him to give me an opportunity in a position where I felt better. I didn't imagine it would be as a midfielder, but after what he showed me and helped me with, it was from then on that I adapted to this position. Today I don't see myself playing in another. I'm happy to have taken on a new role in my career after a certain age.

— Physically, my last game was for 45 minutes in the Paulista debut. After that, I was just training. I arrived here and in my second week, I had the privilege of making my debut against Remo. — I had the opportunity to work with Zubeldía at São Paulo, I learned a lot. It was one of the best moments of my career, along with Dorival's work. — I've always made it very clear that this is my big dream (Libertadores). The only title missing in my career. Who knows, I might achieve this dream at Fluminense. Every athlete aspires to it. — Zubeldía is an excellent professional, who arrives at the club at 5/6 in the morning. He dedicates himself a lot, lives football. I'm proof of that, I can say. Everyone at São Paulo said that and it's the same here. The driver even said that he arrives very early. What I saw most at the club is this, the unity of the group, of the staff, and that creates something special. You can feel it day by day, everyone works correctly and that's why Fluminense is experiencing a great moment.

— On Tuesday night (March 3rd) I had talked to my agent and I already knew more or less that this conversation was happening, but I didn't know exactly the rules (the window closed on Tuesday). I said I would only talk to my wife, I'm very family-oriented and all decisions are made like this. The moment she said "I'm with you, let's go"... When this possibility came, I couldn't think twice. It was very fast, a matter of ten minutes. Happy that everything worked out.

— I left São Paulo because of Corinthians, everyone already knows. I've always had an excellent relationship with everyone, including the fans, especially at the most difficult moment of my career. In Zubeldía's interview (who praised him for a perfect game), I was in the hospital, the day I broke my leg. I saw that the fans embraced me. I decided to go to Corinthians not because it's Corinthians, but because it's Dorival. This controversial departure because of everything that was involved off the field. — He (Zubeldía) helped me a lot day by day as he does with all athletes, always showing the way for the player to evolve. When you receive such an invitation, knowing that you will work with a coach who helped you grow as a professional, there's no way to refuse. Physically I am improving and psychologically, you need to be happy for things to flow normally. I'm sure it will be a beautiful story. Living day by day without thinking about the future.
