Brazilian insists all is well in the Liverpool camp following Mohamed Salah’s rant
Alisson Becker has lifted the lid on the reaction among the Liverpool players to Mohamed Salah’s astonishing rant.
Speaking after being left out of the Liverpool starting XI for a third game in a row against Leeds at the weekend, Salah told reporters that he felt he had been “thrown under the bus” amid the club’s run of poor results.
The Egypt international also added that his relationship with Reds head coach Arne Slot had broken down.
Despite that interview, Salah was spotted in a jovial mood during training on Monday as Liverpool began their preparations for Tuesday night’s Champions League clash against Inter Milan.
Salah will not feature at the San Siro as a result of being left out of a 19-man travelling squad named by Slot, but Alisson insists the outburst had not had a negative impact on the squad.
"After the interview I thought it would be really weird but it wasn't,” the Brazilian said in the pre-match press conference.
"Again, we are grown up men. This is about a personal situation and we accept that.
"We played our last game on Saturday night and it's not been much time so the time we spent together at the training ground has been to rest, recover and focus on a game against a huge team, Inter Milan."

Alisson did add that the togetherness of the Liverpool squad is as good as it can be revealed plans to speak with Salah in private.
"Him not being available is just a consequence of what he did,” Alisson said. "He is smart enough to know that.
"I didn't speak to Mo about it. I want to talk, we have a good relationship.
"It's not just a teammate. We don't spend too much time together away from the training ground but we are friends, good friends.
"You share so many moments together - good moments, sad moments - so that creates a bond between people.
"I will have a conversation but this is going to be private because it is personal."
