Liverpool will face off against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium this Sunday as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Reds managed to secure an impressive 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup recently, so they would be eager to keep their good form going this weekend.

Andoni Iraola will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a lot of changes to his first team for this clash. Alisson Becker, Virgil Van Dijk and Alexander Isak could all play from the start of this game.

4-2-3-1 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Bournemouth

Defence

Alisson Becker will feature in goal for the Reds after being rested in midweek. Jeremy Jacquet will operate alongside Virgil Van Dijk at the centre of the Liverpool backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.

Ronald Araujo will try to impress as the right-back, while Milos Kerkez hopes to catch the eye against his old club as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Joe Gomez will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai will anchor the midfield for the Merseyside club as they focus on making life tough for Bournemouth in the middle of the park and orchestrate some decent chances in the final third.

The gifted trio of Bradley Barcola, Florian Wirtz and Cody Gakpo will operate just ahead of them as part of Iraola’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if the Reds are to secure a victory at the Vitality Stadium this Sunday.

Victor Munoz and Ryan Gravenberch will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Alexander Isak will spearhead Liverpool‘s attack up top. He would be eager to make a difference for the Reds by scoring this weekend after failing to do so as a substitute versus Tottenham in midweek.

Lewis Koumas and Rio Ngumoha will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
