Allan, 28, arrived in São Paulo on Tuesday to finalise a loan from Flamengo to Corinthians until the end of 2026, pending medicals. There is no loan fee, Corinthians will pay his wages, and an option to buy has no fixed price.
“I came to play and to add, I am focused here, I want to build my story at Corinthians and help win titles. If Dorival needs me, I am already available,” he told Central do Timão at Guarulhos International Airport.
He is expected at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava on Tuesday for medical tests before any official announcement.
Corinthians sounded out Flamengo in early January but talks stalled, then resumed at the weekend and were concluded after a meeting on Monday. Allan said he was anxious for a resolution and called it ‘my dream to play for Corinthians’.
Since Maycon’s exit at the end of 2025, Dorival Júnior has pushed for midfield reinforcements. A January move for Alisson of São Paulo collapsed over finances, while Vasco da Gama and Santos also targeted Allan. The need intensified after José Martínez’s serious injury.
Corinthians are also close to re-signing left-back Fabrizio Angileri and moving for Zakaria Labyad. They have an agreement for Fortaleza goalkeeper João Ricardo, pending medicals. So far this window the club have added Gabriel Paulista, Pedro Milans, Matheus Pereira and Kaio César.
